Welcome to our Hanta-Yo website!

We are a partnership located in south of France.
Our goal is to aware people about the Native American Indian Culture.
The association is born in 1994, created by a team of friends who had the feeling that talking about this culture was something, for sure, really important.
We named this Association Hanta-Yo, as you know, means ‘’Clear the Way’’.
We know we are not Indians!
We are just trying to explain that different cultures, traditions and believes exist.
The Indian traditions and the way they walk on earth talk to us… We don’t have the feeling to steal this culture, but to look on the same direction, walk with respect and worries about next generations, that help and guide us. That’s why we wanted to know more and be able to share this vision of the Word and the Universe ‘’ One Word One People’’.
During the years, we met many people still dreaming about Indians, the ones they saw on movies. They don’t want to face the truth.
Travelling across reservations, seeing the difficulties and poverty touch our hearts. We are building a human link, without expecting something back. We learnt giveaway is good!
